Name Banner Love

Happy Friday!! Just checking in to post a little name banner I made a couple weeks ago.  A favorite family friend had her first baby not too long ago and I couldn't resist sewing up a little name banner for her.

Sorry for the unedited cloudy day pictures.
Each of my kids have one and I love them.  They are so easy to make and are a great way to add a little color to a kids room.

Want to make one too??  Go to Made on Maple and follow Liz's tutorial.  And don't forget to check out all the other creative things going on over there too!

Here's a little detail tip to ramp up the cute factor.  When you stitch on the felt letters, increase the stitch length a little.  Larger stitches look more decorative and professional.  I use this trick on all the top stitching on the bags I make.

I hope to get to sew a little this weekend.  Life has been crazy here and I need a little sew therapy!
Hope you get a little sew therapy too!

  1. Cute! I was just thinking I should make Henry one.

Thanks for the hot tip. However, my stitches never look as neat as yours!
