Becky's Massive Tote

I'm leaving town next week to visit my family and I have a list of goodies I want to make to take with me.  Tonight I sewed up a tote for my SIL Becky. Her birthday was Sunday and she requested that I sew her up another one of these as her gift.  Becky, since it's not a surprise, and your birthday's already over I thought you'd like to see it, though I may have to keep some of the other goodies a secret until next week,
I patterned this one after a reusable shopping bag.  It is made from outdoor decorator fabric so it's nice and durable.  I sewed this entirely with my serger, except for applying the handles.  Serging is so fast.
It is massive!! I think it works well for a beach/pool bag too.  I keep telling myself I am going to make one for myself.
Happy Belated Birthday, Becky, see you soon!
