Hello 2015!

We have had a very eventful year already full of new life and new starts. I have a cozy little sleeper sitting on my lap as I type. He's almost 4 weeks old now.

We moved housed a few weeks ago too. Thankfully my sister was here and she did all the work unpacking the house. She even left me with 2 weeks of meals ready to go in my freezer. Thank you Rachel!!

I really should have been sewing for this little baby during the month of December but instead I was sewing Christmas presents. I was making Gingerbread man puppets...

Bubblegum machine ornaments...

Sunglasses cases...

and button earrings.

That's enough sharing for now. I've got a few more things to show you but that will have to wait. All in good time!!

Dress Mash Up - Take 2

I sewed up another dress for Meredith using the pattern I made from our first Dress Mash Up. I made a few alterations in the pattern for this one. We totally love how it turned out!! Isn't the fabric fabulous? She picked it out from Girl Charlee.  It's one of their Ponte de Roma knits.

Sewing Soiree and Book Signing party

I hope you are following along with our Just For You Blog hop this month.  We are already on week 3 and there have been lots of chances to win a book of your very own.  You can check in daily at SewCanShe to see whose going to be next.
Over the weekend we threw a Sewing and Book Signing party at Sew Central for all our local peeps to see our projects and sew with us.  It was so fun to have our dear friends come out and support us.

Fabric finds

I totally forgot to show you my Sample Spree scores from my recent Quilt market trip. Sample spree is an event where some of the fabric manufacturers and vendors at quilt market get a chance to sell some of their goods at wholesale prices for shops to purchase for sample making and such.  Some of the tables have swarms of people around them until they just sell out.

Region 4 Quilt Con Charity Quilt blocks

Hi sewing friends! This weekend I finished up some quilt blocks that I made for the MQG Quilt Con Charity Quilt Challenge.
