Fabric Finds

Is it just me or is Summer flying by? We've been in and out of town over the last few weeks and enjoying time with our faraway families.  I have been sewing too, just not anything I can really show you...yet! All in good time. I stopped by JoAnn fabrics yesterday and I just had to share what I found.  That store is really stepping it up! In our house we would say that Joann gets an "A" for the day! They are carrying more designer fabric lines and their regular fabric lines are getting cuter. Chevrons in every color.

I went to take a look at the new set of Cloud Nine fabrics that are for sale there. So cute! Not really affordable but you can use a coupon which makes them just the right price.

And right next to them I found Juliana Horner's new line. Gasp! She's the daughter of my fave fabric designer Anna Maria Horner. Exciting! I had heard she was starting a fabric line but I didn't know it was going to be so readily accessible. So fun.

Of course I had to buy a couple. How could I not?

I also found a cute striped knit and a flannel polka dot on the Red Tag rack, oh and  a woven fabric I may make into a shirt.

I'd say it was a great day, even if I did have to spend the morning getting an insurance estimate for my car window that shattered as a backed into a tree yesterday.  A little retail therapy makes everything better. :)
Right?
